• Payment-related identifiers processed by Square (we do not store full card numbers)
• Referral attribution data when you arrive via a referral link (a referral code stored locally in your browser)
• Usage data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the platform, authenticate users, display business profiles, deliver quote requests, process verification subscriptions, send transactional email, and improve our services.

We use trusted processors to run the platform, including:

• Clerk for authentication
• Square for invoicing and subscription payments
• Resend for transactional email
• Cloudflare R2 for private verification document storage
• Google Maps Platform for business address geocoding
• Vercel for hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring

Cookies and Local Storage

We use the following technologies when you use our site:

• Essential cookies from Clerk (sign-in) — required to use the platform
• Analytics via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — used to understand site usage and performance
• Referral attribution— when you arrive via a referral link, we store a referral code in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days so we can credit the referrer if you sign up as a business

Information Sharing

Quote request details are shared with the business you contact. Community posts display a masked version of your email (for example, j***@example.com). Verification documents are accessible only to the submitting business and authorized administrators.

We do not sell personal information.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security controls including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and private object storage for sensitive documents.
