1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Your Trusted Worker, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
Your Trusted Worker connects homeowners with local service professionals. We facilitate discovery, reviews, quote requests, and community Q&A, but we are not a party to any contract between customers and businesses.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Business accounts must represent a legitimate service business.
4. Reviews and Community Content
Reviews and community posts must be honest, lawful, and respectful. We may remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
5. Verification
The verified badge indicates that we reviewed submitted license, insurance, and business registration documents and an active verification subscription is maintained where applicable. Verification does not guarantee workmanship quality or future compliance.
6. Payments
Business verification subscriptions are billed through a third-party payment processor. Fees are disclosed at checkout. Subscription renewals and cancellations are managed according to the plan shown during purchase.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must submit your request within 30 days of the applicable payment date by contacting legal@yourtrustedworker.com. Requests received after that period may not be honored. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may require additional information before processing.
7. Referral Program
Referral commissions, if offered, are subject to program rules published in the product. We may modify or discontinue referral incentives with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Your Trusted Worker is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from interactions between users and service professionals, including property damage, injury, or financial loss.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
